Primary Functions:

Install, service, and repair residential and commercial garage doors, openers, springs, tracks, and related hardware. Provide diagnostic and maintenance services. Work safely, meet quality standards, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the entire process.

Competency Areas Include:

• Installation & Repair: Install new doors and openers; replace or repair springs, cables, tracks, and rollers.
  Diagnostics & Troubleshooting:
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues; propose and perform corrective actions.
• Reading & Following Work Orders: Interpret job specifications and manufacturer instructions.
• Safety & Equipment Use: Safely operate tools and equipment, follow safety protocols, and maintain tool inventory.
• Customer Communication: Explain work needed and timelines to ensure a professional experience.
• Time Management & Productivity: Manage schedule, complete jobs efficiently, and work toward performance goals.

Qualifications Include:

• Mechanical aptitude; previous experience with garage doors or related mechanical/contractor work preferred, but not strictly required if motivated
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs., work in variable weather, and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong work ethic, good problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Valid PA driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass drug and background checks per company policy
